'Completely false': Jeff Bezos denies wedding claims; here's what Elon Musk replied

Jeff Bezos has denied reports that he and his fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, are planning a lavish $600 million wedding in Aspen, Colorado, next weekend. On Sunday, Bezos refuted the claims on X, stating, “This whole thing is completely false — none of this is happening.”
He further cautioned his followers, advising them not to believe everything they read and warning about the speed at which lies can spread.
“Be careful out there” and “don’t be gullible.”

Tech mogul Elon Musk responded to the post, expressing hopes for Bezos’ epic wedding to happen, “It’s nice to know that epic events are happening somewhere in the world, even if one is not present.”

The rumours, suggested that Bezos and Sánchez were set to marry in a Christmas wedding, with celebrations at a 160-acre ranch in Aspen, Colorado, owned by Kevin Costner. The report also claimed the couple had rented out a sushi restaurant and private mansions in the area for their guests. However, Bezos firmly rejected these reports, according to the New York Post.
Bezos, 60, and Sánchez, 55, began dating in 2018, with news of their relationship becoming public in 2019 after Bezos’ divorce from MacKenzie Scott was finalized. They got engaged in May 2023, with Bezos presenting Sánchez with a 20-carat diamond ring worth an estimated $2.5 million.
