First Century in World Cup: Sachin’s first World Cup century came during the 1996 World Cup. He scored an impressive 127 not out against Kenya on February 18, 1996, in Cuttack.
World Record of 18 ODI Hundreds: On September 25, 1998, at the age of 25 years and 155 days, Sachin set a new world record by scoring his 18th ODI century in his 191st innings during his 198th match. In doing so, he surpassed Desmond Haynes, who had held the previous record with 17 centuries. Haynes’ record, established on March 5, 1994, had stood for 4 years and 205 days before Tendulkar broke it.

World Record of 35 Test Hundreds: On December 10, 2005, Sachin made history by surpassing the legendary Sunil Gavaskar‘s long-standing record for the most Test centuries. On this day, Tendulkar scored his 35th Test century, breaking Gavaskar’s record of 34 tons, and became the player with the most centuries in Test cricket. The milestone was achieved during India’s second Test against Sri Lanka at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi.
200 not out vs South Africa, 2010: Sachin became the first player in ODI history to score a double century, setting a world record with his 200 in Gwalior.
50th Test century: Sachin Tendulkar became the first player in the history of the game to score 50 Test hundreds. The Master Blaster achieved this historic feat on December 19, 2010 during the first Test against South Africa.
